Jerrie Tan (陈秋琳) is a dispute lawyer whose practice spans commercial litigation and serious criminal defence. She has acted in complex commercial disputes and high-stakes criminal matters, even those involving the death penalty. Jerrie brings a strategic approach to cases where financial, regulatory, and reputational risks often intersect.

Jerrie has represented clients in international arbitration proceedings, securing successful outcomes across a range of contentious matters and is regularly instructed by corporations to conduct sensitive internal investigations, including matters involving employee fraud, misconduct and regulatory compliance.

Before establishing this firm, Jerrie spent almost a decade at an international law firm, developing substantial experience in cross-border disputes and investigations. Fluent in Mandarin, she frequently advises Mandarin-speaking clients and China-based businesses on matters with a Singapore nexus. In 2018, she was one of 100 lawyers worldwide selected to attend a Continuing Legal Education programme at Tsinghua University in China.

Jerrie is one of the youngest female lawyers to be appointed as a Lead Counsel by the Supreme Court of Singapore under the Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences. She is a firm believer in Justice for All, regularly representing pro bono defence for death penalty cases in Singapore.

Jerrie is also active in the legal community. She teaches Advocacy to law graduates preparing to be called to the Singapore Bar; she also serves as an Adjunct Fellow at the National University of Singapore’s Centre for Pro Bono and Clinical Legal Education. Jerrie also serves in the Singapore Law Society Advocacy Committee.
